Ant-Man And The Wasp

Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man saw his share of action in the first film as well as ‘Captain America: Civil War,’ but the Wasp will not be overshadowed. Hope Van Dyne will get her time to shine in ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp,’ and a newly released clip shows fans the heroine isn’t one to mess with.

A new set video from the ‘Ant-Man’ sequel appeared on YouTube, courtesy of Noticias Geek TV. The channel shared a short clip of Evangeline Lilly’s Wasp going head-to-stinger with a villain known as Ghost. Check out the clip:

As you can see, Lilly is decked out in her full Wasp outfit, and strapped to stunt wires for the action sequence. Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) can be seen standing opposite her in a sleek white suit. The pair were previously pictured together on set, but now fans have a better look at the fight scene the two have been working on.

If you are not familiar with Ghost, don’t feel too bad. The character is an obscure one in the comics. The character is known for their hatred of corporate greed. In the comics, Ghost was a male IT worker who held a grudge against Stark Industries (take a number, Ghost). Ghost creates a battle suit which gives him (or her) some stealthy abilities. The technology behind the suit comes from Ghost’s own genius mind, so the villain has both brains and brawn to work with.

‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ is currently filming in Atlanta, and opens in theaters on July 6, 2018.
