Pennywise IT

We’ve been teased that Andy Muschietti was going to be taking the sewer scene in his ‘It‘ adaptation much further than the mini-series and the latest trailer is hinting at that and more! Bill Skarsgård‘s Pennywise not only is haunting the children a bit here but we’ve gotten to finally hear what he’ll sound like. That high-pitched voice is a bit creepy coming from one of the most iconic creepy clowns of all time and I hope that it will translate to another fearsome experience on the big screen.

Of course, we all know it will be hard for anyone to fill Tim Curry’s clown shoes. Speaking aside we got to see a bit more of the paper sailboat scene, taunting of the Loser’s Club, a flooded basement, hiding in creepy statues, and more!

We also hear what one of the kids believes is the cause of this mess that they find themselves in and that is that their grandfather believes the town is cursed.

You can check out the trailer right here:

When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

Curse or not, this demonic entity is going to hopefully strike fear in the hearts of another generation of moviegoers. If for no other reason than because Warner Brothers is already working on the sequel. Though, let’s be honest in that we’d all love a great new horror film coming out this year even if it is dropping in September instead of October.

‘It’ will haunt your local movie theater on September 8th, 2017!
