In the words of the infinity wise Dr. Ian Malcolm, “life finds a way”. The team at Chronicle Collectibles certainly seems the think so too, because they’re delving right back into the ‘Jurassic Park’ license to bring fans even more products based on the fan favorite franchise! This week at San Diego Comic Con 2017, Chronicle Collectibles debuted several new items in their ‘Jurassic Park’ line; with new items based on both the original 1993 film ‘Jurassic Park’ and 2014’s ‘Jurassic World’.

From the original ‘Jurassic Park’ film, Chronicle has two new items planned that are sure to get fans excited! The first item is a 1:1 scale prop replica of John Hammond’s cane! This item is being limited to a run of just 1000 units, but I think that every ‘Jurassic Park’ fan is going to want to get their hands on this iconic piece! The cane is based on the original prop used by Sir Richard Attenborough in his role as John Hammond. It is designed to look as though it’s made of bone, and is capped off with a piece of “fossilized amber” that contains a “fossilized” mosquito trapped inside! Additionally, this 1:1 replica of John Hammond’s Cane comes packaged with a wall mount display so that you’re able to show off to your friends and family just how much you spared no expense! Check out the full release from Chronicle Collectibles below-

Jurassic Park – John Hammond Cane – 3rd Quarter 2017 – $249.99
Limited Edition Size: 1000 units

Visionary, venture capitalist, and philanthropist, John Parker Hammond was the CEO & Founder of InGen (International Genetic Technologies Inc.). His dream of de-extinction became a reality in 1986 with the first successful cloning of a dinosaur— created by extracting its blood from a prehistoric mosquito trapped in fossilized amber. To commemorate this event, John spared no expense and turned that very piece of amber into the top gem of his expertly crafted custom cane complete with an elegant dinosaur bone themed design.

Hammond’s flamboyant nature and billionaire style was legendary and his cane was no exception.

Celebrate the legacy of Jurassic Park by taking home a piece of iconic cinema history with this exclusive limited prop replica run of John Hammond’s cane, cast from an original studio prop.

Also from the first ‘Jurassic Park’ film, Chronicle has a new 1/5 scale replica of the Female T-Rex Stan Winston Maquette! This massive collectors piece is made to be identical to Stan Winston’s original production used maquette from the movie itself! Details are fairly scarce on this one right now, but it looks like it’s quite possibly one of the coolest pieces of ‘Jurassic Park’ merchandise ever made! Sadly due to the new-ness of this piece, there aren’t any details available as to when we can expect it to hit the market or how much it will cost.

For those who might prefer something a little more modern, Chronicle is also producing a 1:20 scale statue of the Indominous Rex from ‘Jurassic World’ as well! This piece is being designed as part of a pair of statues that will also include a 1:20 scale T-Rex so that you’re able to recreate the final battle sequence from ‘Jurassic World’ in your display! Unfortunately while this piece has been announced, the actual details as far as when to expect this to release and how much it’s going to cost are not yet available.

If you aren’t big on the ‘Jurassic’ franchise, Chronicle also announced new pieces like a 1:4 scale statue of The Man In Black from ‘West World’, a 1:4 scale statue of Thulsa Doom from ‘Conan The Barbarian’, and a Blood Oath Marker Replica from ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’!

‘West World’ The Man In Black 1:4 Scale Statue

‘Conan The Barbarian’ Thusla Doom 1:4 Scale Statue

‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ Blood Oath Marker

With all of this awesome new stuff on the way, it looks like it’ll be quite some time before Chronicle goes extinct for sure!
