The Latest Marvel Legends Are Binge-Worthy

This week the team at Hasbro kicked things off with a look at a whole new wave of their popular 6″ Marvel Legends line of figures that is coming our way this summer, plus a sneak peek at what is to come later this fall!

The latest wave of Hasbro’s Marvel Legends will be based around the ‘Marvel Knights’ theme and bring us a healthy mixture of characters from the comics as well as a few from Marvel’s Netflix original series like “Daredevil’ and ‘Jessica Jones’! From the comics, we’re getting our first 6” comic styled figure of Blade the vampire hunter, as well as a new figure of the master marksman Bullseye! Coming straight out of your television screen are Daredevil, Elektra, and The Punisher from Marvel’s hit ‘Daredevil’ Netflix series, as well as a figure of Jessica Jones from the series of the same name in which she is the titular heroine. To top things off, if you collect the whole wave you’ll be able to build your very own comic styled Man-Thing figure (and since it’s a build-a-figure, it’s truly a giant-sized Man-Thing!)!

If those aren’t enough to whet your appetite for new Marvel Legends figures, Hasbro gave us a first look at another upcoming wave that will be hitting shelves a bit closer to the theatrical release of ‘Thor: Ragnarok‘ this November! Figures set for this wave include Thor (Jane Foster), Odinson, and Ares! The wave is also expected to include a few figures based on the upcoming ‘Thor’ sequel, although who we may see is kind of up in the air at the moment.

The Dead Keep Walking At McFarlane

Yo Joe! G.I. Joe Throwback Coming To SDCC

While the ‘G.I. Joe’ brand may be largely absent from toy store shelves right now, it certainly isn’t absent from collectors minds! The team at Hasbro has unveiled a new take on an old classic with their San Diego Comic Con exclusive offering this year in the form of the ‘G.I. Joe Cobra Missile Command Headquarters’ playset!

This SDCC exclusive playset is a reproduction of the classic 1982 playset of the same name, which is now notoriously hard to come by (mostly because it was made of cardboard, which isn’t usually expected to hold up 30+ years), so it’s a great nod to collectors who have been trying to find one. The set will come packaged with three figures including Cobra Commander, Cobra Officer, and Cobra Trooper! Check out the full release from Hasbro below:
