Spider-Man Homecoming

‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ is swinging into theaters soon, and you’d better believe that Marvel and parent company Disney will be doing all they can to raise viewers’ awareness and anticipation for the newest entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  To that end, film stars Tom Holland and Zendaya hosted a TV episode-sized special on Disney XD recently, called ‘A Fan’s Guide to Spider-Man: Homecoming.’

The episode is geared at a more, shall we say, YA-themed crowd, but it does feature a good amount of new images and short clips from the film, as well as some cool info to boot.  It clocks in at around 22 minutes, and makes sense to be aimed at the younger crowd, since this is the type of vibe that ‘Homecoming’ is seemingly looking to create.

Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, young Peter Parker returns home to live with his Aunt May. Under the watchful eye of mentor Tony Stark, Parker starts to embrace his newfound identity as Spider-Man. He also tries to return to his normal daily routine — distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just a friendly neighborhood superhero. Peter must soon put his powers to the test when the evil Vulture emerges to threaten everything that he holds dear.

‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ will be released in US theaters on July 7, 2017.
