The latest offering from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2,’ is currently tearing it up at the box office.  Audiences are finding much to love in the film, but few things seem to be generally as crowd-pleasing as a fun holdover from the mid-credits scenes of the first film: Baby Groot.

Once the popularity of the reborn character (voiced with heavy voice modulation by Vin Diesel) became apparent, there was no way that the Marvel powers-that-be weren’t going to let the cute little fella be featured heavily in the film, obviously.  Who knows for sure how many scenes and bits didn’t make the film, but thanks to a featurette currently online that focuses on The Ravagers, those hungry for any other hit of Baby Groot that they can get their hands on are in luck, as they are given a small extra slice of a scene that did make it into the film.

Check it out for yourself below, if you dare to ingest more Baby Groot:

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Written and directed by James Gunn, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan, Sean Gunn, Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2’ is out in theaters in the US now.
