From wonder child to Wonder Woman, the final trailer for DC’s ‘Wonder Woman’ has arrived! After all the teasers we’ve seen, this last trailer gives the best look at not only the story, but also what to expect from the film.

While it has been known that Ares will be a big bad against our heroine in this movie, the marketing team has decided to continue to keep his presence hidden and instead, bring out Dr. Poison’s role. The film does have a somewhat similar tone to Marvel’s ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ but that’s not a bad thing. There’s a lot of action and some humor which, thankfully, breaks away from the usual DC model of grim and gritty.

While no word yet if a sequel will happen, I really hope that the film does well enough at the box office to warrant it. The trailer shows a lot of promise and I’m rooting for Diana Prince (aka Diana, Princess of Themyscira) to lead another solo adventure on the big screen!

Check it out below and let us know if DC has finally found a Wonder Woman worthy to follow the footsteps of Lynda Carter’s rendition!

Wonder Woman hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Directed by Patty Jenkins, ‘Wonder Woman’ stars Gal Gadot , Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya, Connie Nielsen, Lucy Davis and opens in theaters on June 2.
