With arguably one of the best seasons of ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ culminating on May 16th, Agent Phil Coulson and company have to send this explosive chapter of their story out with a bang. From Ghost Rider to Life Model Decoys to the Framework, our heroes have made it through some major challenges already, but with Aida’s master plan coming to fruition, how can Quake, May, Mack, FitzSimmons, and the whole crew overcome Dr. Radcliffe’s treacherous tech with a mind of her own? By calling in some major back up.

According to TV Line, Gabriel Luna will return to ABC’s acclaimed Marvel drama to reprise his role as Robbie Reyes aka Ghost Rider in the upcoming season finale of ’S.H.I.E.L.D.’. Last seen during the show’s winter finale in December, Reyes sacrificed himself in a quantum explosion to take down his evil uncle and ended up in another dimension. But it appears that he’ll be finding away back to our realm sooner rather than later to help the agents take down Aida before she can create a human body for herself in order to jump from the Framework and wreak havoc on the real world.

And not only does this episode mark the highly anticipated return of Ghost Rider, we’ll also see Natalia Cordova-Buckley and Adrian Pasdar come back as Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez and General Glenn Talbot respectively to help the team. Additionally, the report lists Joel Stoffer from ‘Charmed’ as the “silhouetted man” among the guest stars for the episode. So far everyone returning has been an ally for the agents, but that description sounds a little too shady to be a friend. Then again, we are talking about a bunch of spies here, so you never really know.

What do you think about the guest stars lined up for the season four finale titled ‘World’s End’? Are you excited for Ghost Rider to make his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe? And where would you like to see him pop up again after his mission on ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ is complete? Let us know in the comments.

‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ starring Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, and Henry Simmons airs on Tuesdays at 10:00pm on ABC.
