While we’ve known many of the cast members to Marvel Studios’ ‘Black Panther‘ for quite some time, it was only at CinemaCon that we’ve learned who some of these actors will be playing! While some of these parts were easy to guess, a few of them are surprises. Fans of the mysterious nation Wakanda are going to love who is coming to the big screen when the film airs. In part of the movie we know “that the Black Panther’s leadership is really threatened by two foes who come together” and it sounds as if one of those is hinted at by who Lupita Nyong’o will be playing.

First up, Danai Gurira. She’ll be playing Okoye, one the most famous of the Black Panther’s bodyguards – the Dora Milaje.

Next, is Nyong’o who is playing Nakia. She’ll start off helping to guard T’Challa as well though will eventually turn against him and join with Killmonger.

Everyone’s favorite crazy rebel Forest Whitaker is taking on the role of Zuri who is one of T’Chaka’s oldest friends.

The big casting news though is the one most peopled guessed, and that is Letitia Wright who is playing T’Challa’s half-sister Shuri who in the comics became the Black Panther for an extended period.

Are you looking forward to Marvel Studios’ ‘Black Panther?’ Do you feel that these were some great casting choices or would you have preferred someone else in any of the roles? Share your thoughts below True Believers!
