Hasbro’s Marvel Legends brand has long been a powerhouse in the toy industry. If you include the numerous years that the line was produced under the Toybiz banner, the line has been going strong for fifteen years now! Any toy line that manages to last this long and keeps a steady following of collectors is going to something worth paying attention to, and this week as we head into Toy Fair 2017, Hasbro and the Marvel Legends brand has something big in store for us!
Over the years, the Marvel Legends brand has come to us in various sizes. Whether you’re a fan of the classic 6″ scale, or the smaller 3.75″ scale ‘Marvel Universe’ figures, there is a little big of something for everyone under the Marvel Legends banner. Last year, Hasbro decided to step things up a little and announced new 12″ scale Marvel Legends figures of some of our favorite heroes like Captain America, Iron-Man, and Spider-Man! Each of these larger figures still manages to contain all of the detailed sculpt, excellent paint applications, and fantastic accessories like interchangeable heads and hands that all of the smaller 6″ scale figures had! They took what worked, and they super sized it in order to expand the line to a bigger grand scale. This year it looks like they’re at it again, with the reveal of brand new super-sized 12″ scale Marvel Legends figures of more of your favorites like Deadpool, Thor, and The Hulk!

The Marvel Legends Series 12-inch Deadpool figure should be hitting stores this spring, while Hulk and Thor figures will both be available this Fall. Deadpool and Thor are set to retail at $49.99, while the slightly larger Hulk figure (which stands at an impressive 14.5″ tall versus the usual 12″) is expected to be $74.99.
