Robots, time travel, and old school sci-fi cartoons are a few things that we discuss quite often on this site. However, conversations on those topics very rarely involve professional wrestling. But now it looks like all four of those elements will be mixing together in an all-new animated feature titled ‘The Jetsons & WWE: Robo-Wrestlemania’.

Following the success of ‘The Flintstones & WWE: Stone Age SmackDown!’ and ‘Scooby-Doo! Wrestlemania Mystery’, World Wrestling Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation will tag team once again for a brand new movie featuring some beloved cartoon characters from back in the day. This time, WWE Superstars like Big Show, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins will share the screen with The Jetsons, who are of course composed of George Jetson, his boy Elroy, daughter Judy, and Jane his wife. And just like the plots of the previous collaborations, the WWE Universe is in for some wacky adventures. You can check out the official synopsis of the film below, along with the film’s poster:

In the midst of an exhibition match, a powerful snow storm freezes Big Show solid. One hundred years later, Big Show has finally thawed and is discovered by George Jetson. His first mission is to revive wrestling in 22nd century Orbit City. With Big Show’s help, Elroy and George build robotic Superstars. But Big Show had big plans of his own! The wrestle-bot army manages to capture Orbit City! This leaves George and the Jetsons family one option: travel back in time to enlist WWE Superstars Alicia Fox, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Sheamus to help defeat the Big Show and his wrestle-bot army in the future.

Just when you didn’t think that WWE could get even more ridiculous, it totally just did. Although, the younger members of the WWE Universe might find these kinda fun. After all, as someone that has seen the collaborations with Scooby-Doo and The Flintstones as an adult, I could definitely see kids enjoying the latest animated WWE endeavor. I mean, none of the movies involving WWE Studios so far have been worse than Vince McMahon’s failed football league known as the XFL.

What do you think about the first trailer for ‘The Jetsons & WWE: Robo-Wrestlemania’? Is this something that you plan to pick up to watch with the young ones? And are any other wrestling fans a little disappointed that Stardust/Cody Rhodes isn’t involved in the movie? Let us know in the comments.

‘The Jetsons & WWE: Robo-Wrestlemania’ will be available on February 28, 2017 on Digital HD and on March 14, 2017 on DVD.
