In ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’, we saw the seeds being planted for the Justice League to come together in the wake of an iconic hero falling. But in 2017, we’ll finally get to see the super team assemble on the big screen. And even though we have a little way to go until we get there, Warner Bros. is giving us a little preview as an early Christmas present.

While Santa is busy putting together his elite squad of reindeer for his big night later this week, WB has gathered their premiere superheroes for a new image from Zack Snyder’s upcoming blockbuster, ‘Justice League’. By way of Entertainment Weekly, the studio has released a new still from the film featuring the Dark Knight, the Scarlet Speedster, and the Goddess of Truth. You can check it out below, followed by the movie’s official synopsis:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash -— it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Along with the still, Ezra Miller weighed in on his take on Barry Allen and how he fits into the group. But first, the actor starts with a little Beatles comparison:

“Flash is Ringo Starr. He annoys everybody, but he doesn’t have any specific beef with anyone. Uncle Fish Curry [Aquaman] is very grumpy. Dad [Batman] gets grumpy too. (He’s had a long life of fighting crime.) Wonder Woman is very considerate, so even though she’s annoyed with the Flash, she’s still very compassionate.”
