Ever since his arrival to ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ was announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2016, True Believers have been talking about Gabriel Luna playing Ghost Rider. Though the reaction to Robbie Reyes coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe was mixed at first, it seems like True Believers have on board with this version of the Spirit of Vengeance after only a few episodes. And during this year’s New York Comic Con, we got to speak with the man himself to see how he was finding his reception to the MCU.

Now don’t lie. When it was first revealed that Ghost Rider would be appearing on the popular ABC superhero series, you still had a bad taste in your mouth from the less than savory films starring Nicolas Cage. Even Agent Phil Coulson himself Clark Gregg shared with us that he was cautiously optimistic about the new addition to the team. But Luna was beyond ecstatic to take up the mantle and found the support of his friends and family (albeit with a bit of teasing).

During our brief talk, we also touched on Reyes’ signature ride known as the Hell Charger. As badass as it is, we were wondering what other vehicle from the MCU he’d like to give the Ghost Rider treatment to. There were so many to choose from, but it seems that the answer is a little close to home base.

How do you think Gabriel Luna has been doing as Ghost Rider on ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ so far? Are you enjoying his portrayal of Robbie Reyes and his hot-headed other half? Let us know in the comments below.
