This year’s CW crossover between ‘The Flash’, ‘Arrow’, ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ and newcomer ‘Superirl’ won’t take place until December, but you don’t have to wait to see the Girl of Steel not only in the presence of her fellow heroes, but in all out action!

The CW has released a promo clip that highlights its four shows based on DC Comics called ‘Superhero Fight Club 2.0’ that pits the heroes against computerized attacks, similar to the X-Men’s Danger Room.

The clip opens with The Flash (Grant Gustin) and Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) interrogating their “prisoner” who turns out to be Supergirl (Melissa Benoist).  Then the training room lights up as Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) fire things up, with Diggle (David Ramsey) watching on.  The three headlining heroes are soon joined by The Atom (Brandon Routh), Firestorm (Franz Drameh) and White Canary (Caity Lotz) as they are swarmed by attack drones that seem to know their every weakness.  (Considering that Cisco and Felicity programmed them… they DO.)  About midway through, they are joined by another visitor.

Hopefully, the big crossover in December can live up to the energy in this brief clip.  The story unfolds over three nights on ‘The Flash’, ‘Arrow’ and ‘Legends of Tomorrow’.  Although Supergirl plays a role, her show won’t connect, at least not in as large a capacity.

‘The Flash’ returns on Tuesday October 4 for its third season, while ‘Arrow’ follows on Wednesday October 5 for its fifth.  ‘Supergirl’ begins its second season– its first on The CW– the following week on Monday October 10.  ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ will follow on Thursday October 13.  This will be that show’s second season as well, but unlike last year, it debuts at the same time as the other shows, rather than waiting for mid-season.

Which show are you most looking forward to seeing again?
