Transformers: The Last Knight

As production continues on ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’, the set videos are coming fast and furious! This latest behind the scenes video, posted on Facebook under the hashtag “#TransformersTuesday”, shows the filming of a single a single take of an action scene set about a plane.

Similar to the set videos posted to Instagram last week (in which the director took the opportunity to show off his new “Bayhem” camera), this video follows a group of human soldiers. Whether or not that group includes any of the principle cast (such as returning star Josh Duhamel) is impossible to tell from this footage, especially since at least a few of the performers seen here are almost certainly stuntmen.

As for the video itself, what we see is a sequence in which a plane carrying a group of soldiers is buffeted and possibly on the verge of destruction in the course of a battle (or maybe an escape of some sort). It’s difficult to glean more than that from the footage, though, as in addition to the normal noise you’d expect to hear on a busy set, there is also a wind machine present which only serves to overwhelm whatever other audio is present during the take.

And unlike the Bayhem video, this one has an interactive element. By clicking and dragging the mouse while watching the video, you can actually get a full 360 degree view of the set!

You can see the video for yourself below. You may want to watch it a few times to see it from different angles.
