We’re still over a month away from ‘Supernatural‘ returning to The CW for its 12th season but today we’ve got some promotional shots from the upcoming episodes to share with you! Mary Winchester’s surprising return to Sam enduring a bit of torture it is clear that the season premiere is going to kick off with a bang that everyone is going to want to watch.
Not only that, but actor Mark Sheppard has decided to give a little insight on how we’ll see Crowley when things come back as he attempts to regain his thrown.
“He wants to be in charge. But he has a few overpowering obstacles. Lucifer is the biggest one. That’s his destiny. He likes to pretend he doesn’t care, but he’d be a bit lost without the job. Maybe he’s destined to fail, but it’s so amusing watching him try to regain the throne.”
Before we go any further let’s take a look at the new shots from the series!
Things are looking good and though it seems that the amount of drama will be on the rise. Sam and Dean are already set to be at odds about the British Men of Letters when they are finally reunited it seems like we’ll have quite a few obstacles for them to overcome. According to showrunner Andrew Dabb:
“Initially, Sam is in trouble and Dean is extremely driven to save his brother. As this thing becomes more personal, and we come to understand the British Men of Letters and their point of view, our guys will have different reactions. I believe when the cards are down, Sam and Dean are on the same page all the time, which is to do the right thing. But what is the right thing for either one of them is not always agreed upon.”
Don’t you just love it when sibling rivalry crops up when demons are involved? It is hard to say if this statement means that Sam might end up be joining the Men of Letters or how it will play out but it sure sounds like we’ll have some fun surprises to look forward to.
All of this and they’ll have to deal with Mary returning as well!
