It was rumored just days ago that in ‘The Flash’ movie, the title hero, played by Ezra Miller would not be facing off against just one villain, but a whole team of Rogues. One Rogue has already appeared on the big screen, Captain Boomerang, portrayed by Jai Courtney in ‘Suicide Squad’. Some of The Flash’s other comic book Rogues are Captain Cold, Heatwave, Trickster, Weather Wizard and Mirror Master.
But it seems that the movie may not be quite so star-studded. According to the latest buzz, the movie will only feature two criminals, Captain Cold and Golden Glider.

These two are also known as brother and sister combo Leonard and Lisa Snart. While Golden Glider is a frequent enemy of The Flash, she may not exactly be most folks’ idea of an arch nemesis. Captain Cold, however, is quite often cited as his greatest foe.
Of course, Wentworth Miller plays Captain Cold on The CW’s super hero shows, most notably on ‘Legends of Tomorrow’, while Peyton List plays Lisa/Golden Glider on ‘The Flash’.
Keep in mind, the movie is still a ways off, so more information could surface as production gets closer. Director Rick Famuyiwa is believed to be using the script penned by Seth Grahame-Smith, who was previously attached to helm.
‘The Flash’ movie is due to begin production in January for a 2018 release. At this point, the only other role cast is Kiersey Clemons who will portray Iris West, although Ray Fisher, who plays Cyborg/Vic Stone in ‘Justice League’ is expected to appear in ‘The Flash’ as well.
‘The Flash’ opens on March 16, 2018.
