At Comic-Con no one can hear you scream … ” Not only will there be a Q&A but it is set to be located in Hall H which is a 6,5000 seater meaning they are expecting quite a few fans to show up. The line-up will include Cameron himself as well as Gale Anne Hurd, Sigourney Weaver, Bill Paxton, Lance Henriksen, Paul Reiser, Michael Biehn, and Carrie Henn.

Almost all of the main actors and major behind the camera talent are set to be involved!

The panel will be hosted by Entertainment Weekly’s Anthony Breznican on Saturday, July 23rd and Cameron who usually doesn’t go for this kind of an event felt that this one was one that he wanted to attend:

“You know, it’s interesting. I don’t normally pursue these kind of nostalgia moments like we’re going to do down at Comic-Con, and I didn’t do it much at all for Terminator on its 30th, but there’s something about Aliens. It was a milestone for myself and Gale because the film got seven Academy Award nominations.”

Not only that but he felt that ‘Aliens’ was the movie that really put both Gale and himself into the big leagues:

“All of a sudden, we were playing in the big league. So looking at it retrospectively, you know, [Gale] and I both feel that was more of our graduation, or breakthrough, than Terminator — even though Terminator’s the film that put us on the map.”

This is the perfect event to check out to get excited for the 30th Anniversary Special Edition of ‘Aliens’ that 20th Century Fix has announced, hopefully, they’ll be releasing the Q&A online! While the new collection mostly contains the features from the 2013 Anthology box set it does also include Cameron talking about “the design and inspiration of the film.”

Oh, and it also includes this beautiful artwork:
