Yet more casting news on the ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ front, as a group of new actors have been announced as being cast in the big super-hero film, though due to all of the secrecy still surrounding the latest Spidey pic, we have no idea who they will be playing. Most prominent among the new editions is comedian Hannibal Buress, know best for his roles in ‘Broad City’ as well as smaller roles in recent films ‘The Nice Guys’ and ‘Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.’ Next up is Isabella Amara, who most recently played a young Melissa McCarthy in ‘The Boss’, and will next be seen in both ‘Wilson’ and ‘Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life.’ Finally we have two up and comers who recently made names for themselves at Sundance, J.J. Totah (during a scene stealing role in ‘Other People’) and Jorge Lendenborg Jr. (in a skateboarding film called ‘The Land.’) Totah is also known for his roles in Fox’s ‘Glee’ and Disney’s ‘Jesse.’

As already stated, we have no idea who these actors will be playing in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming,’ though we know that they will be joining an already large cast that includes Tom Holland as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Zendaya as the female lead (unnamed at this point), and Michael Keaton as the villain, who is also unnamed at this point in time. Other actors that have recently joined the cast without us knowing their characters include Logan Marshall-Green, Martin Starr, Donald Glover, and Tony Revolori.

While some are starting to get mildly annoyed by all of the secrecy, I personally do not mind, as I have a lot of faith in Marvel Studios and what they are doing with ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming,’ and I love all of the people they have cast so far. What are your thoughts on the matter? Any theories on who certain actors might be playing? Feel free to share your opinions and theories down in the comments section below!
