Despite always having the luck of the Irish on his side, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus hasn’t exactly had the best of luck inside the squared circle as of late. After his villainous stable of international superstars known as The League of Nations disbanded last month, he came up short of qualifying for this year’s Money in the Bank ladder match on this week’s episode of Raw. However, outside of the WWE Universe, the Celtic Warrior has a new tag team partner to cause some trouble for our favorite heroes in a half shell.
About this time last year, we learned that the WWE Superstar would be joining the cast of ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows‘ as the raging rhino Rocksteady. Although, it wasn’t until recently that we’ve gotten a good look at the Great White in action as the iconic Foot Clan horned henchman. Now, we can see how the extremely pale brawler turned into the thick-skinned terror.
Earlier this week, /Film shared a new clip from the second film in the recently rebooted TMNT series. In this new look at the upcoming film from Dan Green, we get to see how Tyler Perry’s Dr. Baxter Stockman transforms Sheamus and his onscreen cohort Gary Anthony Williams into the Bebop and Rocksteady that we’ve come to know and love (as opposed to whatever ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze’ replaced them with back in 1991). The Ninja Turtles come into conflict with T.C.R.I. scientist Dr. Baxter Stockman with the association of the Foot Clan and the return of the Shredder, who has hired Stockman to create mutants of their own in the form of Bebop and Rocksteady and an unknown invasion above New York City. To prevent the end of the world, the turtles and their human friends April O’Neil and Vern Fenwick comes to the aid with vigilante Casey Jones.
