We are days away from the premiere of the sixth season of ‘Game of Thrones‘ and if the anticipation wasn’t bad enough we now have a slew of new shots from the first episode for you. If you’ve been wondering who might just be showing up on HBO’s smash hit adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’. As we’re finally entering a point where the television series will potentially be spoiling the novel for the first time it almost feels wrong sharing anything prior to the start of this 10-episode season this Sunday.
Almost, but not quite! When “The Red Woman” premieres which is described as “Jon Snow is dead. Daenerys meets a strong man. Cersei sees her daughter again” these shots clearly show that we’ll be seeing at least Ellaria, Doran, Theon, Sansa, Ramsay, Khaleesi, the new Khal Moro, everyone’s favorite dwarf, and Cersei. No shot of Jon Snow here but that seems to be too much of a reveal to show us early.
Especially when the name and description of the episode almost seem to suggest that we’ll be seeing a bit of what is going on up where Snow’s body is.
