captain america: civil war

2016 is bringing a number of epic battles from the pages of our favorite comics to the big screen. Over on Netflix, we’ve seen Daredevil take on The Punisher and The Hand. The Green Arrow and The Flash have their hands full with Hive and Zoom. And of course, there was ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’. But for many fans out there, the main event is ‘Captain America: Civil War‘. The highly anticipated film from Anthony and Joe Russo will pit two factions lead by Steve Rogers and Tony Stark against one another in a no holds barred battle royal. But before the bell rings in less than a month, we have a few featurettes to bring you behind the scenes and up to speed ahead of all the action.

Featuring interviews with various members of the cast and crew, the most interesting bit is when the directors talk about Earth’s Mightiest Heroes being both good guys and bad guys in their latest film:

Next, Good Morning America sent correspondent Nick Watt to speak with a number of cast members on the set of ‘Civil War’. And while speaking with Joe Russo and Robert Downey Jr., we find out that we’re getting a much darker version of Stark than we’ve seen in the past. Check out everything everyone had to say in the video below:

Finally, speaking of the past, the latest promo for the next chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe delves into the relationship between Cap and Tony thus far. The video courtesy of the House of Ideas’ YouTube page uses moments from films like ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’, ‘Iron Man’, ‘The Avengers’, and more to show how the pair went from being the best of friends to bitter foes:
