Daredevil-Season2

We’ve known that Season Two of Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’ would bring fans perhaps the first comic-accurate Punisher in the form of Jon Bernthal and that these two comic book titans would find themselves on opposing sides.  But is Daredevil (played by Charlie Cox) responsible for the emergence of The Punisher?  Do his acrobatic crime-busting actions inspire others to likewise step outside the law and take crime fighting into their own hands?

Jon-Bernthal-PunisherThat’s what Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) wonders in this new promo clip from ‘Darevil’ Season Two which debuts on Netflix later this week.  And the big question is, whose method is better?  When Daredevil slugs his enemies, they get back up to potentially cause more problems down the line.  When The Punisher kills his opponents… they don’t.

It’s a moral debate that is sure to play out over the course of the new season.  (Or this coming weekend, as most will probably end up binging the whole thing as soon as it becomes available.)

The Punisher himself, Jon Bernthal chimes in on the discussion as do the rest of the cast, in this this new promo trailer which highlights The Punisher’s introduction on the show, which (reportedly) will lead to him headlining his own show.

Watch for yourself below:

Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios.  Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood.  Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.. Starring Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Élodie Yung, and Rosario Dawson with Jon Bernthal, Marvel’s Daredevil Season 2 starts streaming March 18, 2016.

Yes, the wait is almost over.  ‘Daredevil’ Season Two becomes available in its entirety on Netflix on Friday!
