In the amazing fan created video below (thank the excellent folk over at MCUExchange), you can see everything that has happened in the MCU so far that feeds into the events depicted in the upcoming ‘Captain America: Civil War.’

Going all the way back to the foundations of the MCU which we saw onscreen in ‘Iron Man,’ the video perfectly maps out all of the clues and events that led our heroes to their current predicament, with footage from ‘Iron Man 2‘ and ‘Iron Man 3,’ Thor,’ ‘Thor: The Dark World,’ ‘The Avengers,’ ‘Age of Ultron,’ ‘Captain America’ and ‘Captain America: The Winter Solider.’ Furthermore, the video explains how the world changed to the point where the world leaders would see fit to reign in the superheroes with something like the Sokovia Accords. And thanks to bonus footage from ‘Jessica Jones’ and ‘Marvel’s: Agents of SHIELD,’ we also get to see some of the regular folk (well, if you count the President of the US as regular folk) react to the events the superheroes have caused/participated in over the years, and what they think of the escalating battles and stakes of these brawls with super-villains.

Check out the video below, and then let us know your thoughts on the ‘The Road to Civil War’ in the comments section below!

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
