If you were watching the Super Bowl, then you caught the Coca-Cola TV spot which featured a large Hulk chasing the very diminutive Ant-Man for a can of Coke. This commercial may seem like the usual product advertisement until you realize that this spot was Coca-Cola’s way to introduce to everyone to their limited edition Marvel-themed mini cans.
I guess now the image of Hulk trying to drink a tiny can of Coke makes a little more sense along with the statement “Sometimes you just want a little Coca-Cola”
The mini-cans feature the images of six of the Avengers: Hulk, Black Widow, Ant-Man, Falcon, Iron Man, and Captain America but what the ad didn’t state is that these Marvel-themed mini cans will not be available for sale in stores. If you want one, you’ll need to virtually hunt them down.
From now until February 14, hidden clues can be found on Coca-Cola’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat accounts which will lead you to these mini cans. According to the rules, each clue will direct you to a Twitter page that you must follow then within that account, find a specific hashtag to tweet from your own Twitter account to be eligible to win that prize. If you are one of the first people to share the applicable hashtag, you will be offered the opportunity to claim one of the prizes for that specific clue.
For example, Sunday’s clue was in the commercial! The web address HiddenMini.com was tagged in graffiti on a wall. If you head to that web address it would auto direct you to the Twitter handle @AhhForce. There you’ll see that if you were one of the first 4000 people to tweet #CokeMiniContest41, you would’ve won a Coke Mini six-pack.
