Maybe a few of you forgot that Internet Explorer was even a web browser option. Perhaps younger generations exposed to the luxuries of Firefox and Chrome never heard of it. However, Microsoft has decided to bid farewell to the browser. On January 12, Microsoft will cease maintaining Internet Explorer 8, 9 and 10,

Microsoft is urging users to take immediate action as malware could affect these outdated browsers.

Internet Explorer 11 will still remain for now. However, soon Microsoft will be transitioning entirely to Microsoft Edge. The browser is far more efficient than Internet Explorer and includes additional features.
