Fans may think they have ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ figured out based on the videos that have been released as well as online rumors, but for every fan who wants all the info they can get, there are those that want to avoid all spoilers and go into the movie fresh. The movie’s opening is still roughly two weeks away, so this could go one of two ways. Either Disney floods the internet with more and more new material (as if they have to) or the pipeline will shut down with no new footage or info being released. Depending on the type of fan you are, that could be great or awful.
Well, how about a happy medium? The newest bit of promotion is a fun behind-the-scenes video with footage of the cast and crew making the movie, plus talking head interviews in which various creators including director J.J. Abrams and stars like John Boyega and Daisy Ridley express their enthusiasm for being entrusted with carrying on the legacy of one of the biggest film franchises of all time. There are no new shots from the movie nor do those interviewed discuss its plot at all. It’s really just a light-hearted look at the creation of the film which fans should enjoy.
