We’ve known about the ‘Bones‘ and ‘Sleepy Hollowcrossover episode for quite some time and now are finding out what will happen when they air on October 29th. I’m sure that you couldn’t guess with the date of the crossover that there will be a Halloween theme that will bring these two pairs of detectives together.

When the ‘Bones’ episode titled “The Resurrection in the Remains” kicks things off, we’ll see Brennan and company investigating a 200-year-old headless body. It isn’t long before Crane and Mills show up on the scene and try to claim the body as their own. Thankfully it seems that the two teams will be working together to solve the case and not be at odds with one another for both episodes.

Speaking of the second episode, the ‘Sleepy Hollow’ portion is titled “Dead Men Tell No Tales” which will not be a Johnny Depp guest appearance but rather take on the more supernatural side from ‘Sleepy Hollow’ and involve newcommer Pandora having a “British Army of the Undead” at her disposal.

My guess is that we’ll be seeing Booth and Brennan taking the lead in their episode while playing a strong second to Ichabod and Abbie in the ‘Sleepy Hollow’ one. It is hard to say how well they will be able to keep the team from ‘Bones’ not find out too much about the supernatural world of ‘Sleepy Hollow’ when they’ll have an army to deal with. I think in doing so we’ll either see something surprisingly pulled off in a good way or some light humor used as a way to bridge the supernatural to the procedural.
