In addition to penning ‘The Walking Dead’ video games and the upcoming ‘Star Wars: Rogue One’, writer and “’Star Trek’ obsessive” Gary Whitta along with his wife Leah plan to explore strange new worlds… in the realm of potty training.

According to Whitta’s Tumblr, when the two were potty training their three-year-old, they found that using Vulcan philosophy did the trick. The two thought it best to share their expertise with other parents, and they penned the book, ‘Pooping is Logical!’ The book includes illustrations by artist and ‘Penny Arcade’ co-founder, Mike Krahulik.

Here’s Whitta’s description of the book:

POOPING IS LOGICAL! tells the story of a young Vulcan child who, just like kids on Earth, is hesitant to make the leap out of diapers and onto the potty. Fortunately his parents, who are wise and loving, are on hand to help him through this transition and assure him that pooping on the potty is a perfectly natural, safe, and grown-up thing to do. In a society based on logic, what could be more logical than pooping?

Whitta states that getting this book published has been a bit of a challenge. So, he’s encouraging Trekkie parents and advocates of toilet use to share his Tumblr post along with the hashtag #POOPINGISLOGICAL.
