Oh hell YES!  Syfy has been cranking out zero budget monster movies for ages, most of which go largely unnoticed by the general public.  (There are only so many episodes of ‘CSI’ and WWE wrestling to fill air time.)  But some magic alchemy happened with 2013’s ‘Sharknado,’ which not only captured the attention of the public, but became a certified “thing” spawning tee shirts and other merchandising, and now two sequels.

Following last year’s ‘Sharknado 2: The Second One’ comes ‘Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!’ which reunites “stars” Ian Ziering and Tara Reid, and like ‘The Second One’, matches them with a score of Z-List celebs like Kendra Wilkinson, Holly Madison, Cindy Margolis, Frankie Muniz and the king of crap, David Hasselhoff, who promised that  ‘Oh Hell No!’ would be “the worst movie you have ever seen.”  Promise?

But you can’t just dive into a feeding frenzy like this cold.  Syfy is getting you primed with ‘Sharknado Week,’ with SEVEN brand new original movies.  The party kicks off Saturday with ‘Roboshark’ at 7pm Eastern and will be followed by ‘Megashark Vs. Kolossus’ at 9 pm.  (Kolossus us a giant robo-killing machine, fyi.)  On Sunday July 19, get ready for ‘Sharktopus Vs. Whalewolf’ at 9pm, then ‘3 Headed Shark Attack’ on July 20 at 7pm and ‘Zombie Shark’ at 9pm and ‘Lavalantula’ on July 25 at 9pm.  (Don’t worry, in addition to these premiers, Syfy is airing other winning original flicks pretty much all day long.)

‘Sharknado 3’ debuts on July 22 at 9pm, following encore presentations of ‘Sharknado’ and ‘Sharknado 2: The Second One.’  ‘Sharknado 3’ airs twice, just in case you forget to set your DVD.

(Well, now I’m gonna have that song stuck in my head all day… ‘Oh hell no! Oh hell no!’… I wonder if that’s on iTunes.)
