No matter who you are, it’s probably safe to say you’re at least somewhat familiar with DC Comics ultimate dark knight vigilante hero, Batman. Batman has been dominating comics, movies, toys, video games, and television for decades, and if you’ve been following the hero at all, you will immediately understand why it isn’t hard to keep interested in him and his exploits. This week at San Diego Comic Con 2015, the team at DC Collectibles announced and revealed a bunch of great new Batman related figures for collectors to look forward to in the next few months! Today we’re giving you the run down…

First up if the newest wave of figures from DC Collectibles popular figure line based on ‘Batman: The Animated Series.’ The television series has been off the air for nearly two decades, but it’s still as popular as ever and certainly warrants the extra love and attention it has been getting lately from collectors. This weekend at San Diego Comic Con 2015, DC Collectibles revealed the full lineup for a sixth wave of the popular toyline that will include fan favorite characters like Commissioner Jim Gordon, Zatanna, Ra’s Al Ghul, and Etrigan the Demon with Klarion the Witch Boy! Gordon, Zatanna, and Ra’s will be based on their appearances in the earlier episodes of ‘Batman: The Animated Series’, while Etrigan and Klarion will be based on their looks from ‘The New Batman Adventures’. Also announced at the convention, but with no images allowed to be released currently, are Firefly, Anti-Fire Batman, Clayface, and Harley Quinn!

DC Collectibles was even kind enough to throw together this awesome short commercial for the line to show off some of their previously released and upcoming figures from the ‘Batman: The Animated Series’ line!

If ‘Batman: The Animated Series’ isn’t really your thing (at which point, I’m not sure how you live with yourself), maybe DC Entertainment’s popular Batman gaming series is more your style? DC Collectibles recently announced a ton of great new figures in their already popular ‘Arkham Knight’ toyline! We’re getting first looks at Man-Bat, Azrael, and Professor Pyg! To make things even more exciting, this is actually the first ever figure we are getting of Professor Pyg, so he is sure to fly off of shelves quickly! Also announced but without images are Catwoman, Nightwing, Robin, Commissioner Jim Gordon (who has had more different figures of himself produced in the last year than he has in the last thirty years), and a special figure 2-pack of Oracle and Batgirl.

It’s a good time to be a fan of the Batman, and an even better time if you’re a collector! Stay tuned to ScienceFiction.com for all of the best SDCC Coverage!
