Deadpool may typically be a loner but even solo assassins need buddies, right?  The live action movie version of the Marvel mercenary doesn’t arrive until February, but in honor of San Diego Comic Con this weekend,  some new photos have been released that spotlight his supporting cast: T.J. Miller as Weasel, Ed Skrein as Ajax, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Morena Baccarin as CopycatHildebrand has already been photographed in her role, but this new image shows her in costume.  Check her and the rest of the gang out below:

Of note is the photo of Deadpool himself, Wade Wilson, played by Ryan Reynolds, unmasked… and unscarred.  The actor has already been seen unmasked with the facial scars that Wilson bears in the comics.  The fact that Baccarin appears in the same photo, would seemingly indicate that this scene is from a flashback, before Wilson is disfigured in the Weapon X program.  Baccarin’s character, Copycat, was Wilson’s girlfriend before he underwent the process of transformation.

Hopefully more information or images will surface at SDCC this weekend.

What would you like to see in ‘Deadpool’?

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, ‘Deadpool’ tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

‘Deadpool,’ directed by Tim Miller, hits theaters on February 12, 2016.
