You’ve seen the movies and there are plenty of video games that let you play as a member of The Avengers, but none are as immersive as this new 360 degree simulator from Samsung. Launched to coincide with ‘Age of Ultron,’ this simulator actually allows you, guided by Maria Hill herself, to step into Avengers Tower and defend it against an army of Ultron drones, as Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye, The Hulk, Iron Man or Thor and to team up with others to combat the robot army.
Among the teammates featured in the promotion are Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy, professional surfer John John Florence, cyclist Fabian Cancellara and soccer star Lionel Messi. And some girl who plays as Black Widow, because you know, two X chromosomes.

Well, at least they show that a guy CAN play as Black Widow if they want. And a wee lass can play as Hulk. So all’s fair.

Obviously, the point is to sell the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Gear VR Headset, the tech you see the folks in the ads donning to really get the full experience.
