‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ is already delighting audiences abroad, but fans in the US have to wait another week, until Friday May 1st to behold the second installment of the super dream team franchise.  In preparation, two new video featurettes have surfaced with some new footage to whet your appetite (or tide you over).

Brit Paul Bettany, who previously voiced Tony Stark’s AI assistant J.A.R.V.I.S. in the ‘Iron Man’ films, returns, this time in a more active role as The Vision, a synthezoid who began as a pawn of Ultron in the comics, before becoming one of the most stalwart Avengers over the years.

Bettany appeared on the BBC series ‘The One Show’ to promote ‘Age of Ultron‘ and presented a new clip of his character’s “birth” (his words).  You can view the clip below:

In another clip, producer Kevin Feige, director Joss Whedon and stars Scarlett Johansson and Elizabeth Olsen discuss the roles that the female characters, Black Widow and the Scarlet Witch play in the unfolding mythology.

When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Paul Bettany, and James Spader assembles in theaters on May 1, 2015.
