With Josh Trank’s new take on the ‘Fantastic Four‘ set to be released right around the corner, we’re getting more new shots from the upcoming film. 20th Century Fox has released three new images which feature Marvel’s First Family, however, the one I’m excited to share with you is the best shot of The Thing that has been released so far. If I wasn’t already so worried that the studio had butchered the plot this would have me pretty excited for what we’re going to be seeing on the big screen.

Yes, The Thing looks that good. We’ll get to that in a moment though.

First up we have a shot of who I assume is the foursome prior to their transformation.

Things are still looking relatively normal for the soon to be heroes there. Only, it doesn’t look like things stay that way. I have a feeling that this next one is a shot of Reed Richards when he has returned from being blasted by the rays that will turn him into something a little more fantastic.

Of course as oh so unexciting as those two shots were the true treasure is this look at Jamie Bell as The Thing.

Wow. Okay, now that is a set of special effects that really stands out. It really looks like what you would expect a real life ever loving blue eyed thing to look like right before he has to deal with the Yancy Street Gang.

What are your thoughts on how The Thing ended up looking? Are you willing to give ‘Fantastic Four’ a chance or do you just want the rights to revert back to Marvel so they can do their first family proud? Share your thoughts below True Believers!
