Spring is here and with it comes a TON of great new toys to look forward to! Whether you’re into superheroes or aliens or Tim Lords, there’s a little something for everyone this week! You’ll Never See These Marvel Legends Coming…

While we know we’re getting quite a few awesome new waves of Marvel Legends figures from Hasbro this year, it appears that we may very well be getting another! n top of several Spiderman, Avengers, and Antman themed waves, the team over at Marvelous News is reporting that we might be seeing a new ‘Daredevil’ themed wave as well!  A member of the Fwoosh message boards has apparently discovered a listing for ‘Marvel Daredevil Legends’ figures within the computer system for popular pharmacy chain Walgreens this week.

Walgreens has been working hard to get into the action figure market with numerous exclusive figures being announced left and right for the retailer over the last year. With the upcoming live action ‘Daredevil‘ series coming to Netflix in just a few weeks, it wouldn’t be terribly surprising to see a ‘Daredevil’ themed wave of Marvel Legends coming our way! But would it be based on the comic versions of the character, or the new live action version?

People are speculating that since we recently got a comic-styled Daredevil in a recent wave of ‘Spiderman’ themed Marvel Legends, that we would see a figure of the new live action Daredevil, alongside a ton of comic styled characters. Speculation has people talking about characters like Bullseye, Elektra, The Owl, and The Hand Ninjas as potential figures for the wave, along with potential ‘build a figure’ versions of Kingpin, Gladiator, or even Stiltman (all of which would also work well as individual release figures too). One Fwoosh member went as far as to suggest that they make the ‘build a figure’ Stiltman and include his legs with the ‘army builder’ Hand Ninja figure so that it would make sense to buy a few of them! This wave practically sells itself!

Hot Toys Avengers Just Keep On Coming

If you’re tired of drooling over the new Hot Toys 1:6th scale figures for Marvel’s upcoming ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ then we’re sorry, because Hot Toys just announced even more of them!

First up is the all new Hot Toys 1:6th scale Hawkeye! This new Hawkeye figure sports an updated costume, a brand new headsculpt, and improved articulation so that you can pose your favorite arching Avenger in a ton of great new action poses! Check out the full release from Hot Toys below:

The release of Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ is coming closer and closer! Fans are all pumped to see the Earth’s mightiest heroes assembling again to save the world from the menacing artificial intelligence Ultron! Following the reveal of Black Widow, Hot Toys is thrilled to present the widely-anticipated 1/6th scale Hawkeye Collectible Figure!

The movie-accurate Hawkeye Collectible Figure is specially crafted based on the image of Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye in Avengers: Age of Ultron, featuring a newly developed head sculpt, new outfit, improved articulations for action poses, freshly designed bow and arrows, and a specially designed figure stand.

As a special treat for collectors, Hot Toys is taking their show on the road all over Asia for their ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron Exhibition’! To make things even more special, they have announced a new convention exclusive Iron Man Mark VII Stealth Suit 1:6th scale figure! This figure is going to be super limited in it’s release, with pre-orders only being taken during the events in select cities, which is kind of a shame considering how great this figure looks! Matty Collector Gives An Update On Club 200X

The team over at Matty Collector have finally given fans another update as to the status of ‘Masters Of The Universe Classics Club 200X’! It looks like everything is coming up Milhouse, as the subscription appears to have gone through! Along with the end of the subscription period last week, Matty Collector revealed the sixth and final figure, Prahvus! CLUB 200X UPDATE: From the Desk of Skeletor’s Love Child…

I know you guys have been waiting with bated breath for the final results of the sub drive so let’s get into it. I have some good news and some bad news.

The bad news….we have to wait 3.5 months for July to arrive so the first figure in the COMPLETE 200X sub can be mailed out.

CONGRATULATIONS PEOPLE OF ETERNIA, YOU DID IT!!!

Coming in at a whopping 99.9% (and honestly let’s just call it what it is: 100%), the sub passed with flying colors. I personally want to thank everyone who participated in the sub drive from the bottom of my tiny blue heart, your contributions are appreciated and recognized whether you purchased one sub or 100. You guys are the ONLY reason this happened; never let it be said that there is not power in the voice of the people.

The New Titan Merchandise ‘Doctor Who’ Wave Is ‘Fantastic’!

The team over at Titan Merchandise recently posted a teaser image to their Instagram account that gives fans a hint as to the character lineup for their upcoming ‘Fantastic’ wave of ‘Doctor Who’ blind box vinyl figures! The ‘Fanstastic’ wave is Ninth Doctor themed, so you can expect to see a ton of your favorite characters from the first season of nu-who making an appearance! Upon further inspection of the image, it looks like the series will be comprised of the Ninth Doctor, Rose Tyler, Captain Jack Harkness, Henry Van Statten, Mickey Smith, Adam, The Empty Child, Slitheen, An Auton, Cassandra, The Editor, and a final mystery character that some are speculating is a gas-lamp filled with a Gelth creature! Only time will tell for sure as far as who made the cut for this lineup, but rest assured that you will know as soon as we do!

NECA Teases More ALIEN and Predator

The team over at NECA is teasing even more awesome new figures of some of your favorite science fiction franchises! This week they’ve posted teaser images for upcoming products in both their ‘ALIEN’ and ‘Predator’ lines!

From ‘ALIEN,’ we’ve got our first look at the headsculpt for the upcoming Amanda Ripley from last years sleeper hit video game, ‘ALIEN: Isolation‘! This is the first figure we’ve gotten of Amanda, and so far she looks to be coming along nicely with an excellent likeness to the in game character! This figure is expected to hit sometime around the years end.

On top of that, we’ve got a look at the all new Ancient Predator mask design from NECA’s ongoing ‘Predator’ line! This is the first look we’ve seen of this mask, which appears to capture the Ancient Predator design pretty perfectly! There is currently no word on when a release on this figure is expected.

 Funko Forecast

Get ready for the Funko Forecast! This is where we’re going to be showcasing all of the cool new announcements and reveals from Funko! With all of the awesome that consistently seems to be flowing out of those guys, it shouldn’t be hard to keep this section alive each and every week!

DC TV Gets The Funko Treatment

While these figures were announced way back at Toy Fair 2015 in February, we’ve just received our first proper glamour shots of the all new Funko figures for DC Entertainment’s ‘Arrow’ and ‘The Flash’ series! Both shows are getting the POP! Vinyl and the ReAction treatment, so there’s a little something for fans in either category!

For POP! Vinyls, fans cn expect to see most of their favorites but not quite everybody. From ‘Arrow’ we’ll be getting a few versions of Oliver Queen/Arrow, Deathstroke, and Black Canary, while on ‘The Flash’ side of things we can expect The Flash himself, Reverse Flash, and Captain Cold!

As far as ReAction figures go, we can expect pretty much the same exact lineup of characters, with the addition of The Dark Archer Malcolm Merlyn from ‘Arrow’ joining in for some of the fun as well!

Star Wars Celebration Excusives

With this year’s annual ‘Star Wars Celebration‘ quickly approaching, it comes as no surprise that Funko has announced some all new convention exclusive POP! vinyl figures! Fans can keep an eye out for the exclusive E-3PO, R2-Q5, Shock Trooper, and R2-R9! The all new Unmasked Darth Vader POP! Vinyl will also debut at this show a few weeks before it’s major retail release!

Batman Goes Dorbz

Last week we talked about the upcoming ‘Dorbz’ line from Funko and Vinyl Sugar, and this week we’re showcasing an all new wave of figures! This first all new series of ‘Batman‘ themed Dorbz figures features some of your favorite characters from the Caped Crusaders adventures like Batgirl, The Penguin, Harley Quinn, Robin, Killer Croc, and of course, Batman himself! This series is expected to hit stores in May, and is only wave one of ‘Batman’ Dorbz!  A second wave expected t hit later in the summer or early fall.

The next Dorbz series features characters from the Batman universe and the Caped Crusader himself!

Opting for painted designs over sculpt, these pint-sized rascals will weasel their way into your heart as surely as they’ll find their way onto your shelf!

Each high quality vinyl figure stands at 3-inches in height and comes in window-box packaging to fully display each character through front and back box panels!

Look out for more Batman Dorbz coming later this year!
