Ever since the beginning of ‘The Flash’ on The CW, the showrunners have done a great job a paying tribute to the 1990s CBS series starring the Scarlet Speedster. Though ‘Glee’ star Grant Gustin is the newest incarnation of the titular hero, the first man to don the mantle on television John Wesley Shipp was brought on to be involved as Barry Allen’s father. Then a few months ago, we learned that Mark Hamill would be appearing on the DC Entertainment series to reprise his role from back in the day as well. And now, we have our first real look at the modern day version of The Trickster in the latest trailer for the popular ‘Arrow’ spinoff.

Before we see Hamill revisit the most iconic role of his career in ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’, the veteran actor will step back into the brightly colored shoes of The Trickster on the March 31st episode of ‘The Flash’. This time, the carny conman and practical joker is reimagined as an anarchist and a terrorist serving a life sentence in Iron Heights that is called upon when a copycat hits Central City and follows in the original’s deadly footsteps. However, the new trailer also shows us that Barry and the rest of Team Flash have more than just some wannabe to deal with when the show returns next week. In addition to the Tricksters, our heroes will have to deal with Weather Wizard, Captain Cold, Lisa Snart AKA Golden Glider, and Reverse Flash. That’s right! It looks like more and more people are catching on to Dr. Wells’ extracurricular activities.
