Microsoft has revealed a new Xbox One bundle  that comes with ‘Halo: The Master Chief Collection’ for $349.99.

The bundle will include a standard black Xbox One, as well as a digital download code for ‘Halo: The Master Chief Collection’. As of writing, Microsoft has only announced the bundle without the Kinect.

During the past holiday season, Microsoft had lowered the price of Xbox One console bundles without the Kinect to $349.99, about $50 less than Sony’s PlayStation 4. However, when the holiday promotion ended on January 3, Microsoft brought it back again as a “new promotion” that would be available for a limited unspecified amount time. The announcement of the ‘Halo: The Master Chief Collection’ Xbox One bundle is but another addition to the wave of Xbox One console bundles featured alongside the console’s price drop.

Released back in November 2014, ‘Halo: The Master Chief Collection’ is an HD remastered collection that compiles the single-player and multiplayer modes of ‘Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary’, ‘Halo 2: Anniversary’, ‘Halo 3’ and ‘Halo 4’. Unfortunately for fans, the collection does not include ‘Halo’ series spin-offs ‘Halo 3: ODST’ , ‘Halo: Reach’ and ‘Halo Wars’.

Seeing as ‘Halo: The Master Chief Collection’ is a collection of remastered versions of older ‘Halo’ games, it expectedly features a variety of updates. For starters, each game included has received graphical updates and have all had their respective frame rates bumped up to 60 fps. Lastly, each game has also been given full 1080p resolution support.

On top of the remastered versions of the main series ‘Halo games’, ‘Halo: The Master Chief Collection’ also includes ‘Halo Nightfall’, a five-episode live-action digital series from executive producer Ridley Scott.

The ‘Halo: The Master Chief Collection’ Xbox One bundle is stated to be available now in most regions in the U.S. However, exact availability across retailers is said to vary.
