A new live-action trailer for Activision’s ‘Call of Duty Online’, a free-to-play version of the first person shooter series for China, has been released featuring none other than ‘Captain America‘ actor Chris Evans.

The trailer itself shows four soldiers fighting together through a variety of action movie set-pieces until they get pinned down by a firing chopper. However, just when all hope is lost, Chris Evans comes in with a rocket launcher to turn the tide of the battle. The whole thing spurs a funny little acknowledgement of Evans’ fame and background with one of the soldiers asking “Who does he think he is? Some kind of Hollywood action hero?”

Other than that, the rest is what you would to expect from a live-action ‘Call of Duty’ trailer with Evans going in guns blazing and a more formidable enemy popping up to challenge the ‘Captain America’ actor and his allies just when things are about to go in their favor.

Evans is certainly not the first Hollywood celebrity to ever appear in a ‘Call of Duty’ commercial. In the past, actors Robert Downey Jr., Megan Fox, Jonah Hill, Sam Worthington and even more recently, Taylor Kitsch.

‘Call of Duty Online’ is a free-to-play game that features microtransactions. The game itself was made possible for release due to a partnership with Activision and Tencent, a famous internet company in China.

According to a Polygon report on the free-to-play title back in June, the game itself will feature maps, character models and weapons from the ‘Modern Warfare’ and ‘Black Ops’ series. Content from ‘Ghosts’ and even ‘Advanced Warfare’ is expected to come as well. Lastly, on top of typical ‘Call of Duty’ modes, ‘Call of Duty Online’ will even have its own Zombies mode and Survival mode.

‘Call of Duty Online’ is currently available now through an open beta in China.
