If you are eagerly looking forward to the release of ‘The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death‘ than you’ll be happy to hear that Relativity Media has released a motion comic at Crave Online! In the comic we see Jeremy Irvine (‘War Horse’,’Great Expectations’) narrating the origin of how the Woman in Black came to be. It’s a haunting little tale that is made all of the better by how well Irvine handles the voice over. The film is coming out right around the corner on January 2nd, 2015 and the studio is using this as a great way to draw the audience into the film.

You can check it out right here.

As bombs rain down on London during the Blitz of World War II, a group of school children are evacuated with Eve, their young and beautiful schoolteacher, to the safety of the English countryside. Taken to an old and empty estate, cut-off by a causeway from the mainland, they are left at Eel Marsh House.

One by one the children begin acting strangely and Eve, with the help of local military commander Harry, discovers that the group has awoken a dark force even more terrifying and evil than the city’s air raids. Eve must now confront her own demons to save the children and escape the wrath of The Woman in Black.

While I had never previously thought about it, Irvine has a voice that is truly outstanding for narration. He’s an actor who I hope this film does well for as I’d love to see an increase in available roles popping up for him. Obviously, by that I mean roles in science fiction, horror, and comic movies.
