Sony has announced that they will be hosting a large public community event called ‘PlayStation Experience’ in Las Vegas, Nevada in December.

To commemorate PlayStation’s upcoming 20-year anniversary, the two-day community event will let attendees sit in on a variety of in-depth panels with industry developers, play hands-on gameplay of some of the newest upcoming PlayStation games of 2015, get access to all kinds of free swag as well as have the opportunity to buy exclusive collectibles.

‘PlayStation Experience’ will be held on the weekend of December 6-7 at a yet-to-be-announced venue. One day passes to the event will be selling at $50 while two-day passes will be will sold at $90. Currently, Sony has not made it clear how many tickets will be sold but Sid Shuman, who announced the event via blog post, stated “we’ll have plenty of room and plenty of games. Bring your friends and family (if they are 18 and over)!”

Shuman also assured that those who cannot attend ‘PlayStation Experience’ will be able to get comprehensive coverage of the event via PlayStation blog and live video made available through a variety of distribution channels.

If there is anything that is to be expected, the event will most likely have an exclusive announcement or two on an upcoming big Sony PlayStation title. Naughty Dog recently acknowledge in an interview with GamerCrate that details of the upcoming ‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ would be revealed very soon. So we can only hope that by the time ‘PlayStation Experience’ rolls around that a potential playable demo or huge announcement will be show off at the event.

‘PlayStation Experience’ will take place in Las Vegas on the weekend of December 6-7. Those interested can keep up on details via PlayStation Blog on October 20 when more information on ticket sales for the event will be revealed.
