If you missed the opening ‘Star Wars Rebels‘ one hour film ‘Spark of the Rebellion‘ we’ve just learned that ABC will officially be re-airing it and with a huge bonus to boot! What kind of bonus? Well, there will be a full new scene that will star none other than a James Earl Jones voiced Darth Vader himself! That’s right, ladies and gentlemen, we’re getting more Vader for the price of admission and as I am one of the few who haven’t had a chance to see the TV film yet so I am now eagerly awaiting the airing on Sunday Oct. 26th 2014 at 7 p.m!

For me the fact that there will be more Vader now makes this totally worth waiting for. Of course, who isn’t a fan of this Dark Lord of the Sith?

With how positive the early reactions to the show has been, ‘Star Wars Rebels’ has already been renewed for a second season and this just sounds like a way to increase the viewership even that much more!

According to Executive Producer Dave Filoni, “We wanted to do something special for the ABC broadcast. We’ve added a scene which gives audiences insight into the Inquisitor and includes a cameo by Darth Vader voiced by the distinguished actor James Earl Jones.”

Squee! Yes, I’m still in denial of the infamous scene at the end of ‘Episode III’ that ruined Vader for all of us.

With already having 6.5 million viewers when the film premiered on Disney Channel and Disney XD, it may be hard to attract some of them back for a second showing so soon, but I’m pretty sure this will help. It will also help those of us who haven’t had time to check it out yet have even more of a reason to do so!

Are you planning on checking out ABC’s showing of ‘Spark of the Rebellion’? Have you already seen it and plan on making sure to check out the Vader scene as well? Share your thoughts below!
