It’s been nearly nine months since we saw Matt Smith’s Eleventh Doctor regenerate into Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor in ‘The Time of the Doctor,’ but now in less than 2 weeks time we’ll be welcomed aboard the TARDIS once again for a new season of ‘Doctor Who.’ Currently, the series’ new star is touring the world with co-star Jenna Coleman and showrunner Steven Moffat to promote the long-running sci-fi staple’s eighth season, but it looks like the last of the Time Lords has taken some time out of his busy schedule to discuss his upcoming adventures and show off some new clips from the future of time and space.
Recently, BBC News presented a couple features on the series 8 launch of ‘Doctor Who’ that included an interview with Capladi about what we can expect from his turn as the iconic Doctor. These reports also showed off some sneak peeks at the second episode of the season, which sees veteran actor/life-long Whovian come face to face with one of the universe’s most dangerous creatures. It’s definitely not that much to go on, but for fans that are clamoring for the return of ‘Doctor Who’ all over the world, it will certainly do for now. With the season premiere fast approaching, hopefully we’ll get more snippets like this along the way to tide us over in the mean time.
