Despite many studios sharing their exclusive offerings at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, with the world via the internet in the days following the event, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have chosen not to officially release their footage from ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’. Sure, if you were quick about it, you may have caught a glimpse at the staredown between the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight, but bootleg footage just isn’t the same. But since it’s better than nothing, we have more of it… sort of.

The local ABC news affiliate in Detroit recently reported on Zack Snyder’s upcoming superhero movie filming in their city. In their coverage, they offered some interesting new images featuring Clark Kent’s city of Metropolis in ruins… Again. But among the wreckage, you might notice an interesting sign that might hint at a certain citizen of Gotham making an impact beyond his domain. Here’s the brief video of the report thanks to Detroit ABC-7 News:

In case you missed it. I was referring to the fallen Wayne Financial sign in the rubble. The company’s owner, Bruce Wayne, is of course the civilian alter ego of the Caped Crusader. With a branch of his company popping up in Metropolis, then that would give Batman an excellent reason to be on Superman’s turf. Previously it was revealed that Big Blue would be paying a visit to Gotham, but I guess the city’s favorite hero will return the favor. Maybe the rooftop that housed the Batsignal in the SDCC footage belonged to the Wayne Financial building and that’s where the pair face off in the rain. Though there’s no way to confirm any of this speculation right now, hopefully we’ll learn more as the film’s production rolls on.

What do you think of this look at ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’? Does my theory sound about Wayne Financial sound plausible to you? Do you have any theories of your own? Let us know in the comments below.
