Oliver Queen has gone through so much in this season of ‘Arrow’ and almost all of it is because of Slade Wilson. His former friend and fellow island dweller has traveled to Starling City to exact revenge on Ollie for the choices he made on the island by taking away the things that mean the most to him while simultaneously building an army of Mirakuru soldiers to do his bidding. Now, after killing Moira Queen, Sebastian Blood, and many others, the showdown between Deathstroke and the Arrow is finally upon us in the season two finale of DC Comics’ hit show on The CW.
Before the battle begins tonight, the network has released a special clip from the episode titled ‘Unthinkable’. In this video, Team Arrow (including Roy Harper and Lyla Michaels) return to the Foundry to see that Oliver was right in saying that their base was likely compromised. While they attempt to find all the weapons they can, especially injector arrows for the Mirakuru cure, the group maps out their game plan to keep Amanda Waller and ARGUS at bay for now. “Slade moves forward with his plan to kill one more person in Oliver’s life. While Oliver has fought all year to be more than the killer he once was, when Slade kidnaps someone close to Oliver’s heart, Oliver is pushed to the edge and realizes sometimes it takes doing the unthinkable to stop the monster. Meanwhile, Diggle takes on Amanda Waller (guest star Cynthia Addai-Robinson) with a little help from some friends, and Thea turns to Roy in her time of need.”
With the whole team on the job and on the same page, heads are about to roll. Hopefully they’ll belong to Deathstroke, Ravager, and any other goon that gets in the Arrow’s way as he tries to save his beloved city once again.
