When it comes to World Wrestling Entertainment, there is quite the cast of characters on their roster. Currently, some of the biggest stars include the world’s largest athlete, an apex predator, the Devil’s favorite demon, a jean short wearing boy scout, a backwoods cult leader, a goat-faced champion, and a high-flying masked man. They even have their very own bona fide superhero in Dave Bautista, who will be appearing in James Gunn’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ later this summer as Drax the Destroyer. However, another familiar face from the pages of Marvel Comics will be dropping by Monday Night Raw for a visit. Or at least the actor who plays him in the movies will be there.

WWE announced last night that Hugh Jackman will return to the squared circle to promote ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ next Monday night. Previously, while he was doing his rounds for ‘The Wolverine’ last year, he appeared on Raw alongside the Long Island Broski Zack Ryder as he faced off against Dolph Ziggler. The actor even saw some action as the Show-Off met the X-Man’s right hand when the ref’s back was turned. You can check out the award-winning actor’s last appearance on WWE programming in the video below:

Jackman took to Twitter to express his excitement about guest starring on the next episode of the longest running episodic show in television history in St. Louis, Missouri. His former foe Ziggler replied to the post saying that they should bury the hatchet, which then prompted Damien Sandow, the “Intellectual Savior of the Masses”, to interrupt and throw some trash talk at @RealHughJackman and @HEELZiggler. Chances are that we’ll see Wolverine get involved with those two ring warriors when he comes through the curtain and steps between the ropes next week.

Do you think Hugh Jackman will take a page out of Wolverine’s playbook once again when he appears on WWE Raw? Could Damien Sandow be on the receiving end of a Fastball Special courtesy of the ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ star and Dolph Ziggler? Let us know if you’ll be tuning in to the USA Network next Monday night to find out.

‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ hits theaters on May 23, 2014.
