Can there ever really be too much of a good thing? Well ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past‘ had better hope not as we have three new featurettes on the film to share with you today! Even with all of the recent news of ‘X-Men: Apocalypse‘ and the next three potential spin-off movies there really doesn’t seem like much that gets past the juggernaut that is ‘Days of Future Past”s marketing machine. Even the most hyped super-hero movie of the year to date, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2‘, now appears to have gotten in with some post-credit marketing, and they’re owned by Sony!

With how many trailers, teasers, posters, already released featurettes, and lame corporate tie-ins things just seem to be going a bit overboard. All I’m saying is that if the movie is going to be as good as they are trying to say, you shouldn’t need this much pre-markering. I don’t remember 10,000 ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier‘ featurettes coming out ahead of time. Just saying.

Anyway, here are the 3 featurettes:

First up is making sure that you get the point that “We’re In This Together”

The second one tells us that it is “Time To Make A Choice”

The third and final one says to “Join The Team”

Just as in the Marvel Comic Universe with Iron Man, we see from these featurettes that the cinematic universe which Fox has decided upon has Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) at the center as he is sitting front and center in each of the featurettes. Don’t get me wrong, I think he makes a great Wolverine but with how many other actors are involved in this project that are also big with the fan base, we could have seen a little less Hugh and a little more of anyone else.

At least Peter Dinklage (‘Game of Thrones‘,’The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian’) was able to get a few comments in.

What is your thoughts on the latest featurettes? Are you happy with the additional views brought fourth by the actors or is enough enough before the film’s release? Share your thoughts below true believers!

‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ starring Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, and Evan Peters is set to hit theaters on May 23, 2014.
