With just over a month until the May 23rd, 2014 release of ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past‘ it would appear that marketing is really starting to kick in. Which is kind of surprising with how many trailers, teasers, posters, featurettes, lame corporate tie-ins, and more have already been released! It’s beginning to feel like ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2‘s advertising over here! At least we probably haven’t seen 70% of this film from early releases, yet.

First up we have a new poster to share with you that features Daniel Cudmore’s Colossus and Fan Bingbing’s Blink.

Next up we have a shot of Evan Peters Quicksilver running so fast that he’s on the wall. Most likely he’s about to do something in order to save Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and James McAvoy’s Professor X as they break Michael Fassbender’s Magneto out of prison.

As the next shots we’ve mostly seen parts of before I threw them into a mini gallery. They include 2 shots of Magneto, a shot of Colossus fighting a sentinel, Wolverine and Professor X having a heartfelt moment, the elderly Magneto and Professor X, and finally a shot of Storm. (Which further proves that she was not cut from the film in case Singer’s tweet didn’t have you convinced.)

Speaking of the Quicksilver, the photo above this is actually from the scene in the film he will be primarily in. Screenwriter/producer Simon Kinberg explains:

“That is the bulk of Quicksilver’s presence in this film. They need somebody who can help them get in and out of somewhere. And the idea is that Logan knew him in the future and so they go to try to find his younger self.”

One thing that can’t be mentioned in the Marvel/Disney version of Quicksilver that will be seen in ‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron’ is the fact that Quicksilver is Magneto’s son. Will it be mentioned here?  According to Kinberg, “…there may be an allusion to it in the movie, but it’s not something we fully explore yet.”  Here they have a key piece they can include and it will be barely touched upon here. Interesting.

What do you think about the latest shots of the film? Are you excited to see more? Are you happy or sad that this version of Quicksilver is mainly on for one extended scene? Share your thoughts below!
