Get ready and get excited, ‘Game of Thrones’ fans, because your beloved show is returning in less than one month! The acclaimed HBO fantasy drama based on the works of George R.R. Martin is set to return for its fourth season in April and everyone is talking about it. Since the first official trailer for the next chapter in the tale of Westeros was released, the cast has been especially talkative. With various red carpets happening this time of year, we’ve heard from the likes of Emilia Clarke, Maisie Williams, and Kit Harington, just to name a few. Now, we’ve got an update on Brienne of Tarth straight from the knight herself.

Recently, Gwendoline Christie spoke to USA Today about her role as the imposing Brienne, who had completed her task from Catelyn Stark to bring Jamie Lannister to King’s Landing when we last saw her. In the interview, the actress discussed the evolution of her character, the physicality demanded of her because of the role, and any injuries that she may have acquired while filming. However, she also dropped some hints about what we can expect from her in the upcoming season:

“At the end of Season 3, we of course see that she delivers him back to Kings Landing, almost in one piece, and then in Season 4 it’s safe for me to say that is where we see them again. Brienne finds herself throughout Season 4 in situations that are unexpected and outside of her comfort zone.

What I love so much about the show is we really see the expansion of the character — we see her move through different stages of development and we see her at Kings Landing, which is perhaps not a kind of environment that Brienne is used to negotiating. It’s a world of secrets, of words, of intrigue, and Brienne is a women of physicality and physical action. We see the development of this person as they negotiate another new world that they have no experience of.

Also, yet again, Brienne is tested against great hardship — perhaps the greatest hardship yet.

What I love about what George R.R. Martin created is the progression of a character. I do say it because it’s true, in Game of Thrones the only thing you can ever expect is totally the unexpected. We see the punishing nature of human experience as people are tested again and again.

There is no shortage of action for her. And sometimes with comic consequences.”

Christie drops some pretty big hints there. I know that I really want to know what she means by “the greatest hardship” and “comic consequences”. What about you? What do you hope to see Brienne of Tarth get into during the next season of ‘Game of Thrones’? Was your answer Jamie Lannister’s pants? Or maybe it was the armor of the royal guard? Either way, let us know in the comments below.

‘Game of Thrones’ starring Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Natalie Dormer, Maisie Williams, and Sophie Turner, among many others, returns to HBO on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 9:00pm.
