After jumping from HBO to CBS and now to NBC, is looks as if the zombie-like drama ‘Babylon Fields’ is finally moving to production and has cast three of its central characters to boot. So who have they picked up to fill the roles? Meagan Good (‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues’,’Deception’) and Skeet Ulrich (‘Jericho‘,’Scream’) are set to play the leads.

Wait! Didn’t we say 3 roles? Yet only 2 actors were mentioned. How does that work? Well it would appear that Ulrich is going to take two characters in the series and play them as a set of twin brothers.

First let me share with you what the plot of ‘Babylon Fields’ is about:

Synopsis:

The dead are rising in Babylon, NY, and as a result, lives are regained, old wounds are reopened and families are restored — for better or worse. The newly regenerated bodies are healing faster and growing stronger than anyone else leading to the suspicion that they might be the next step in human evolution.

So faster and stronger zombie-like reanimated dead. Wonderful. At least there is no news that they eat flesh so that’s a plus.

Ulrich will be playing both one of the living and one of the dead as he will play a priest named Father Harris as well as his twin junkie and dead returned to the living brother Graham. I wonder if that whole returning to the life will bring up any religious questions considering the fact his brother is a priest. Also joining the cast in the female lead is Meagan Good who will be playing Janine Beltran. No word yet if she’s going to be one of the living or the dead or what her connection to the brothers will end up being.
